I tried a download from softonic but when I click on the icon it open a window asking which program I want to open settings with, browser, chrome, cw private browsing, or maxthon browser. I have tried each one and they have all opened an internet window for settings manager that remains blank! What am I doing wrong?
Hi Debbie
Right.... It's not supported by Apple and perhaps others.
This is because of the many security flaws found in Flash over the past few years and the slower performance issues.
Adobe have been constantly trying to patch their problems.
There is a whole spiel about the issues on the net.
Most good sites are all switching to HTML5 which is faster & more modern code & it doesn't allow back door ports to your machine.
There are Apps on the Apple Store to support those who still need Adobe Flash on those other occasions.

Testimonial: "I believe my issue may have to do with the Chrome browser I use. It evidently comes with it's own flash player. I don't know what version it is or how to update it if it isn't the current version. Will have to look into that. Thanks for your suggestions."
Have you tried to get into adobe website or app store on your computer. One of the two should be able to help.
Hope thats usefull
