I have got acer iconia one 7 and just turned it on. When i go to connect to wifi by sliding it across at top, nothing happens just says'to see available networks turn wifi on?! its not finding any connections and im connected to my home wifi with my phone , does anyone know why this is?

You have to turn on the wi-fi connection on the tablet.

Go to settings and turn on wi-fi.

Then go and look at the connections displayed.

Pick which one you want to log on to and enter the appropriate password.

Then you use the internet.

The asterisk is there to show that other wireless networks are available for connection. If you tap the asterisk you should reveal the other networks names and signal strength.

Hi,

I'm afraid you can't access wireless Internet while in safe mode.
Try pressing Alt and F10 when turning on your computer and choosing safe mode with networking instead of safe mode.

How does the iconia one 7 tablet hold the wifi password without you having to type it in every time you turn it on?
When entering the password there is a tick box that allows you to save the settings and connect whenever this wifi available, check the settings from the password page!
