Sharp Aquos LC-13S1U: Picture but no sound on two cable channels. All other channels OK. No problem with cable signal as other TVs work fine. Rerunning Setup does not solve problem.

TO: rdh041: I don't have the solution to you problem, but we have the exact same problem with our Sharp AQUOS 20" LC tv. Different model than yours, but same age and same perplexing issue. Several channels suddenly have no sound. If you've found a solution, would you please post it? I'll do the same. Thanks.
Most locations are real hard to get local stations using indoor antennas. If you are in a location where you do not have cable, I would try either a outside antenna on the roof or go with Direct TV Dish / Dish Network system.

Contact Sharp to locate the nearest authorized Sharp servicer. Sharp Aquos servicers have to give Aquos TV top priority. Sharp provides very good and fast serice on these sets.
using the magnovox remote, reprogram the vcr's channels. set it up to use cable not air. when the vcr was unlugged it lost it's channel memory. don't buy new cables, you're getting a picture and sound so that means your rca cables are ok.
