I found strips of black plastic in the filter holder. Where could they be coming from?

Frequently the problem for this is a plastic ring that has three pins in it. Normally the pins break through the bottom of the ring.
You need to take covers off. Strip SDS chuck. Remove plastic cap from end of drill then remove large internal retaining ring. Tap end of drill with mallet and eventually the tool holder will come out.
At the bottom of the tool holder there is a thin O ring (all this does is keeps a plastic gear and springs on the tool holder.) Remove this ring gear and springs can now be removed. You should now see the plastic ring (approx. 30mm long) Examine ring and pins, probably need to replace ring. This is usually the cause of not hammering, I have found changing seals works for weak hammering. Although having stripped the drill to this point I normally change the O rings on the hammer and piston. Rebuild is reverse of stripping be careful with the thin O ring not to snap it.

That is due to the clear plastic strips inside the printer, the one that run behind the cartridge holder, being dirty or damaged. This plastic strip with black marking on it, is used to tell the printer where the cartridges actually are. Unfortunately it could also be the sensor that reads this strip being damaged. Inspect the strip with a bright torch to see if any ink or dirt is on this strip, use a bright torch when doing so, it makes it much easier. Also check behind the cartridge holder for any torn bits of paper that could be jammed in it. Make sure the printer is unplugged from the power during this!!

Check the drain on the humidifier (at the bottom there is a drain which should be attached to some type of hose that drains into your sump or other wastewater orifice)...

check the filter (remove the lid and the filter is that corrugated metal type thing (it may be clogged causing overflow - you can replace it for about 7bucks at home depot)
also check that the water line (should be attached to the black plastic frame is attached and the water is going into the top part of the black filter holder)
check that the filter is sandwiched properly within the black plastic holder
lastly check the actual holes in the black plastic filter holder to make sure they are not clogged
remember to bring the old filter to confirm size for the replacement

It's under the Keyboard. It is referred to as an RTC battery. (Real Time Clock)

1) ALL power removed from the laptop. AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.

2) It would be in your best interest to buy, and wear an ESD wrist strap.
(Electro Static Discharge)
Connect the alligator clip to a good ground source.
The price of an ESD wrist strap averages from $3 to $12.
Carried in a multitude of stores.

3) Keyboard Removal:

Laptop closed turn the laptop over. There is 1 Philips screw to remove down in the middle of the Battery Compartment, towards the inside edge. (Battery removed)

Turn the laptop over to it's normal position. Open it.
There is a slim strip of plastic that covers screws that hold the Keyboard in place.
The name of it is Keyboard Holder.

It is right above the Keyboard on the LCD screen side, and below the strip of plastic that contains the Power On button, LED lights, and speaker ports.

(This strip of plastic above is part of a cover, that removes when the LCD Display is removed. It isn't an LED/Switch Cover, per se)

Ease your fingertips in-between the latches that hold the Keyboard Holder in place, and the computer, lift up on the Keyboard Holder.

[To explain:
The Keyboard Holder is a slim strip of plastic. Going along it are plastic protrusions, or tabs.
These tabs are on each side of the Keyboard Holder.

Starting from the Left side there are tabs on each side of the Keyboard holder.
Go towards the Right side approximately 2 inches, and there is another set of tabs.
There are 5 sets of tabs.

You need to ease up on the Keyboard Holder by placing your fingertips under it, in-between two sets of those tabs.
The plastic Keyboard Holder will slightly bend, and come up far enough for your fingertips. Then slide your fingertips towards one set of the tabs, and ease up. This part of the Keyboard Holder will pop up.
Keep going towards the next set of tabs, and keep popping the Keyboard Holder up.

Example: Start from the Left side. Come over about two inches from the Left end, ease up on the Keyboard Holder. Slide your fingertips towards the tab set on the Left. Pop the Keyboard Holder up. (The tabs will release) Now go to the right to the next set of tabs.

Once the Keyboard Holder is removed, there are two Philips head screws to remove, that hold the Keyboard in place.
These are at the ends of where the Keyboard Holder was. One screw on each end.
(You'll see plastic tabs coming from the Keyboard where the screws are)

Screws removed ease up on the Front of the Keyboard.
(Front is towards the LCD screen)

Turn the Keyboard over carefully towards you, lay it down on the Palm Rest Cover, (And Touchpad)
(Front of Keyboard comes up, and over towards you)

There will be a flat ribbon cable attached. You shouldn't have to disconnect it, or fully remove the Keyboard in order to access the RTC (CMOS) battery.

The RTC battery is similar to the normal batteries used in a desktop computer, (CR2032), but is smaller in size, and is enclosed in a plastic 'bag'. (Plastic holder)

There are two wires coming from it which end in a male connector. (White)
The male connector plugs into the motherboard of the laptop.
Use your fingernails to ease the male connector out.

Go buy a Purolator Cabin Filter as they come with instructions. The filter is located below the windshield, passenger side. The black plastic cover must be removed to access the filter. You simply raise the hood and remove 3 plastic clips, and the washer hose from it's holders. This will allow you to remove the plastic cover over the filter.

Remove the brew head. Pry out the metal coffee filter, then pry out the rubber gasket. There is a small black plastic insert that is likely gunked up with coffee buildup. Clean the parts well, reassemble, and then try again.
If you are a good "tamper", you can leave out the rubber gasket and plastic insert entirely, and just go with the the filter. It takes a bit of practice, but you will get equally good crema if you match the grind to your tamp pressure.

To change the cabin air filter one needs to remove the glove box first. This is reasonably simple and involves a couple of screws, the rubber glove box limit pads, and a 10mm nut. The air filter is located in the heater assembly directly behind the glove box. The filter is removed by releasing the plastic clip holding the filter and withdrawing the filter forwards. (The filter is installed like a vertical drawer.). The Hyundai web site (www.hmaservice.com) has a good description.
For a 2002, you simply slip the black ring off of the glove box clip on the right, and pull the left side of the glove box in slightly so the rubber glove box limit pad will clear it's channel. That allows the glove box to open forward and gives access to the heater assembly directly behind the glove box. The air filter holder is held in place by four plastic clips that you squeeze together in pairs to release the holder. Pull it out like a drawer. Remove the old filter by squeezing the top and bottom (or front and back, depending on how you hold it) of the filter together. This will bow the white plastic sides of the filter so that they clear the four small, black plastic protrusions from the sides of the holder that keep the filter in place. Reverse the process with the new filter and you are done. Takes about 10 minutes.

The encoder strip is most likely the problem. Unplug the power from the printer. Open the front cover and move the cartridge carrier to the center. You should see a white ribbon cable, a thin plastic strip and a black belt with teeth.
The thin plastic strip is the encoder strip. It rides in a sensor on the back of the cartridge carrier that you will not be able to see. Reach in with the first finger of either hand and carefully strum the strip as if playing a guitar.
The strip will need to be lowered slightly and brought towards you slightly. Please be careful not to break the strip or your printer will not function. Once you believe the strip is set correctly, plug the power back and try printing the self test. If it slams to the left again, the strip is not yet set correctly.
If you cannot repair the strip, please let us know so that we can assist you further.
Please Note: Fixing the encoder strip is a delicate procedure. During the troubleshooting, if the strip breaks, you will not be able to use the printer.

Is it a clear plastric strip with little black lines through it?

If so that is your encoder strip, it is how the printer knows where the head is. If it's broken it needs to be replaced. If it just came out of it's holder you may be able to put it back into place. Sounds like it snapped, not good.
