Hi
I assume that your printer is a Kyocera Mita and probably one from their KM range. I proceed on this basis.
It is possible to reset this using U163 in Maintenance Mode to reset the code. If the error still persists it is to do with the fuser unit. I found many error codes for many printers and the particular page of relevance to you is here: Error Codes Kyocera Mita KM2540 Code C6000
It is for the KM2540 but you can change models easily using the drop down menu in the centre of and near the top of the page.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers
The error code(C6000) Maybe the broken fixing heater wire. In fixing warm-up, the time to reach 50 degree(C)/122 F exceeds 10s, the time to reach the primary stabilization exceeds 10s or the time to reach secondary stabilization exceeds 24s. Or the Fixing heater M or s installed incorrectly. Check and re-install if necessary or replace the fixing heater M or S
replace the fuser will fix that. Or if you want to stip it down check the lamps and if their ok change the thermistor and thermostat. But your better off just replacing the whole unit
Are you sure the error isn't C6000, which is a fixing unit error? If it is a C6000 then it maybe able to be reset in simulation mode if the fixing unit hasn't failed. Verify error code.
