  1. Check if the mute button on the cable box/TV/VCR is activated. If so, turn off the mute feature
  2. Verify the volume on the cable box/TV/VCR is not turned all the way down, either by adjusting the volume level on the equipment itself or with the remote control
  3. Check if the TV has an earphone or headphone jack. If so, make sure there are no earphones or headphones plugged into it
  4. Check if the Cable Box/TV/VCR has a SAP/MTS switch (Secondary Audio Program / Multichannel Television Sound). If so, make sure it is set to the proper setting. Consult your TV/VCR manufacturer's user manual for information for your specific TV/VCR. Click here for information on changing this setting on a Cable Box
  5. Check behind ALL TV and equipment (Cable box, TV, VCR, DVD, stereo receivers, etc) and the coax cable at the wall outlet for any loose or damaged connectors
  6. Make sure all equipment and connections are hooked up correctly for the video and audio based on the type of connections being utilized

Panasonic digibox tu-ct20 has all stations mixed up since the retune . worked perfectly well untill then.even tried the shipping reset .no luck.

Just had the same problem with a Panasonic digibox whilst trying to fix a customers tv. The only way I can see to unmix them is to use Profile menu to create a new Profile and manually add the channels one-by-one to the new profile, or replace the digibox. I suggested to the customer best solution - replace digibox as they are cheap enough now.

Plasma tv has a smudged picture and colours are mixed

The TV has a color wheel / Light Engine problem.Light engines cost between $800 and $1500. Cheaper to buy a new TV. Get the extended Warranty. It will pay for itself.

Philips digibox

I tried another digibox and got BW only. So it had to be the JCV TV. I rooted around and found that my s-video setting had changed. I don't know how, because it's an obscure menu item. I changed it back and all is well.
