U only can now used those buttons like channels + - for channels,it will alway skip channel 3.U can't get channel 3 if channel 3 is not in ur tv save memory.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to used.
Usually there are buttons on the set, these are used to do all the remote can do... You usually have a menu, button and the others scroll you through, up or down, setting by repeated presses, and there is also an "OK" button too...
This may be because of your personal preferences settings for channels. Try to adjust the personal preferences of each channel according to your wish. Most remotes have the options to set personal preferences.
Usually if you go into the setup menu, there is an option to allow you to either "scan" for a channel, or "input" a channel. In this case, select "input" and see if the TV will allow you to press the up and down channel buttons and go to a specific channel. If so, when you get to channel 4, press the "add this channel" option (or whatever the menu option says) and you should then be able to go to channel 4 using the buttons on the front without skipping over it.
My child lost the tv remote and we have the child lock on so we can;t change the channel or the volume. Do you know how to turn it off without the remote?
