We just set up our Lorex LHV1000 8 channel system but the dvr won't stop beeping. How do I make it stop? We only have 4 cameras in use but we tried plugging all 8 in to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. Help??!

Might be too late... but it beeps if its not hooked up to internet. So to stop it from beeping either connect it to ethernet cable in back, or you can turn off beeping in menus- its i believe settings, event, network- then unclick the box thats there

SOURCE: i have 2 lorex dvr's. both need web access, can it be done

there are a few ways to accomplish this. one way is you will need more then one static ip. one static ip for each machine, you will then be hitting them on the same port but different ip's. the simplest way is to change the web port setting in the lorex dvr from 80 to something else in the second machine.

Lorex-edge model no lh314 series will not record and beeps and says hdd is not installed

You need top open the top of the case by removing the screws and check to see if the hard drive is operating (it will be warm to the touch and may be making a slight noise). If the hard drive is not working, verify that it is plugged in. If the hard drive is bad, you can replace it with a SATA hard drive. The Lorex system will see the new hard drive and ask you to format it for use with the system.

I have a Lorex edge LH314 320GB, DVR beeps and displays HDD is not formated.

You need to format the hard drive using the built in formatting utlity. Did you replace the hard drive in the DVR maybe?
