Change channel up/down to AV or Input. To get this to program in the channels, you will have to turn on dvd, then go to tv menu and select "autoprogram" and it will search all available channels including AV/Input

I have dish and I want to know what to set my Tv on to watch a DVD? How do I get it started?

You just hook your DVD player up to any of the inputs on the back, then change it to that input. The dish should have no effect on watching a DVD off a different input. So take the Red, Yellow, and White RCA cables, put them in input 1, 2 or which ever. Change your T.V. to which ever input you placed it on and you should be set.

Ah5902291a how to switch to tv to dvd

Do you mean you want to change your input to the DVD input to watch a DVD player instead of television?

Use your remote or television buttons and press "input" it will either scroll through the different inputs or you will get a menu to look through the inputs. If your DVD is connected with an HDMI cable then you will want to stay in the choices for HDMI inputs. If you have it connected with RCA cables, component or something else like that, then make sure you pick the corresponding input. Make sure your DVD is turned on so you can slowly scroll through the different inputs and wait for a signal to show up if you do not know which input you are connected to.

I get sound from my dvd player when I hit dvd on the remote but I see the picture from the tv

you need to change the input on the tv to whatever input your dvd is plugged into. an alternative is to use your denen avr as your video changer as well. most surround sound recievers will have a vidoe input as well as a vidoe output. if you route your cable right when you switch between your dvd and tv signal on the Denon, you dont have to change inputs on the tv. hope that helps.

How do I change my remote for TV to Input Video 1?

There should be a button on your remote denoting "Input." If you connect the DVD player to the TV on "video input 1" then push the input button on the remote or TV itself until the DVD appears on your TV (which will be Video 1). Some TVs must have the component (in your case) the "DVD" player connected to the TV before the TV will recognize it. Make sure the DVD is powered up and then push the input button until the DVD player appears on the TV. Depending on your TV inputs, there may be multiple inputs like, Video, Component, DVI, or HDMI. The above are listed in the respective order of "quality." HDMI being the best. Whatever input you hook the DVD player up to on the TV will be the "input" you will look for when pressing the input button. Hope this helps.

I cannot get the DVd to workthrough the TV

You need to select the correct input. Wherever you have the DVD cables hooked into, there should be a label saying INPUT 1, or INPUT 2, etc. Change your TVs input to match the DVDs input.
