The thread size is standard, just a metric standard. To attach the Sylvania LCD427SSX to the wall mount bracket you'll need (4) metric 8mm machine screws with a 1.25mm pitch. You'll find them at your favorite neighborhood hardware store with the designation M8 1.25x40mm. (40mm long...the 30mm would be to short)

Thank you for posting this information that I needed. It's not listed in the Service Manual.

Go to home depot and ask for the following:

4 M4x30mm Machine screws; 4 M4x12mm Machine screws; 4 M4/M5 Flat washers. I hope this helps.

I had the same issue with a Sylvania model LD320SS1 and it too took the M4 (4 mm) metric screws as noted above. For my TV the M4x16 mm long was perfect. After buying the screws, I discovered the screws that were provided to attach the table stand to the TV were the same screws needed for the wall mount. The Owner's manual does not mention that.

I have a Samsung UN32M530D smart TV that I want to mount on the wall. The 4 holes at the back of the TV are smooth and do not have threads for screws. How do I attach the TV to the wall mount?

You can check https://www.primecables.com/c-18871-mounts-sit-stands for mounting sets or standing desk to your Smart TV. I got a standing desk there and going to mount it soon. It's much more comfortable then to use a simple wall mount.

What size screws are required for wall mount on tv ?

I did not find that listed in the owners manual, you will need to contact the manufacturer as to the mfr recommendation of proper mounting screws.

I need to know the size of screws i neddto wall mount my tv

First you need a tv wall bracket made for that tv's weight and size to have a safe tv on your wall. The tv must be secured properly or it might fall. So the screws would come with this mounting kit and if they didn't I would fined out were they are. You must mount to a strong structure, like a stud in the wall or a metal frame built for it. The screws that I would use if might mounting kit did not have them would be as big as they would fit in the mounting bracket holes and that all the mounting holes wear being used and long enough to not be pulled out and in the stud about 3/4 of the way through the stud. They would be a good metal screw with a washer and the right threads for what ever material you are mounting it to. Thanks

Wall mounting Philips 32PFL6704D/F7

First of all a standard screw will not work. You will have to visit your local hardware store and purchase a machine screw to fix the problem. In many cases you will have to use an estimated guess and gamble your time and money. The length and width of the machine screw will be found at this store. The effort is miniscule and money will be meager. Remember, do not use a standard screw!

Has no mounting screws what type do they take or are they standard

Most of these tv's use the 1/4-20 machine screw, for example, has 20 threads per inch and a 1/4 inch diameter. I would recommend that you stick a piece of wire into the screw hole to determine the length that you need and start with this size screw. If it fits nicele and snugs down you will know you have the correct size.

No screws for wall mounting 42 inch tv

any hardware store will have them bring your tv manual with you it will tell you the spec on the screw to connect to the 4 pre existing nuts on the back of the tv as far as from the mount to wall it will be a standard lag bolt small enough to fit threw the hole and long enough to go threw the drywall and about an inch and a half of the studd 2" to 2 1/2" inch lag bolt will work

What is the screw hole size in back of tv

The screw holes are metric. The set is supplied with M5x25 screws to attach the pedestal, so the wall mount screws will be in that same range.
