Hi
I did have a look to see if I could find the exact date of build, but couldn't. However the refinements of Fresumi B's links which I give below, may help you in your research.
Current property values in Gracedieu Road Loughborough LE11

Property details for 87 Gracedieu Road Loughborough LE11 4QF
I also had a quick look at the street on Google Maps (street view) and found them very difficult to date - except that they were built prior to the car being almost universal transport, as garages and driveways were non-existent or afterthoughts.
Sorry not to be more helpful
Cheers

Adjusting choke on 87 22r Toyota

the carb needs to be cleaned and kitted
fully. just like we did from 1920 to 1985.
SET THE CHOKE TO LEAN WHEN CAR IS COLD
THEN ADD CHOKE IF YOU NEED MORE COLD.
THE FUEL MAY BE BAD
AND IF IS OR WAS BAD FUEL, FILTER FUEL IS PACKED UP AND SO IS THE WHOLE CARB INSIDE.
FINDING CARB PARTS (AND KITS) 2023 IS NOT EASY
THIS IS WHY NO CARB CARS SEEN ON THE ROAD.
36 YEAR OLD CAR AND CARB.
PARTS ARE RARE.
EVEN THE SERVICE MANUAL IS RARE.
IF LUCKY JUST CLEANING IT CAN WORK
LUCK HAPPENS.

Where can I get an origanal or copy of a car repair manual for a 1957 chev pillarless 4 door sedan i am Qld Australia Thanks

There's a guy in loughborough uk - search for American parts loughborough - he is a god. Has all the manuals, and will help with tech advice - but don't be rude. Buy some parts off him or chuck him some money via eftpos or PayPal - hell ship anywhere in the world and has 40 yrs+ yank experience. And wrecks heaps of yank stuff and can get you new parts too. Thanks,
Andy.

Ps he doesn't suffer fools so pls be genuine.

Old '87 ranger been sitting in folks yard few years. fires up fine, but spits and sputters going down the road

Old fuel in tank, fuel filter clogged, plugged/clogged carb. or fuel injectors.

1. Drain fuel from tank and replace with new fuel with SeaFoam or Lucas

2. Repace fuel filter

3. With engine running at a high idle and air cleaner off, spray or pour carb/fuel injection cleaner into carb/fuel injectors.

If problems persist, check plug wires for cracks and/or breaks. Pull spark plugs checking for fouling.

Why does my 87 run better on regular gas than super unleaded

the car was built to run on 87 octane, unless you have done engine work( raised compression ) or reprogrammed the pcm run regular, you will probably get better fuel economy also

86 Bronco Lost all power (eletrical) and will not start

I own the 87 year model and had a similar experience after being off-road. Found positive cable to be in contact with chassis. try checking to see if this is the case in your situation using an ohm meter with the bat disconnected. should have infinite ohms between pos cable clamp and chassis ground.
