I would like to know the security code for my radio as i have lost the code .

Sorry but code info is secured at the Factory storage server. See the dealer or try one of the pay for code websites like radio-code.com

If you mean the security code, it is not placed on the radio but is supplied with the original literature pack for the owner to store at home in case it is needed.

If the original radio security code is lost it is possible to retrieve it from the manufacturer's agents at a price; either the code associated with the vehicle VIN number or if a replacement radio has ever been fitted the type, part number and serial number of the radio must be provided. The serial is often etched into the radio case.

There is a variety of internet sites offering decoding and recoding services as well as providing decoding software but in my experienced the resutls are variable.

You will have to go to the dealer to have the unit reset.
It is a security feature for theft.

These codes are stored on the factory data base computer system, we do not have access to that, only the dealer does in most cases. There is one site that may have it for a fee of about $10.00 USD called www.radio-code.com

The problem with these security codes is that each radio carries a code that is unique and individual to the serial of radio itself. There is no master code for these radios. The good news is they can be decoded online once you have the serial number like you already have..

Ford will charge £25 for supplying you with this code and this is why I always recommend this site which does them for only £5.99

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
It usually begins with M++++++ or V++++++

Radio security codes from the factory are always included with the owner's manual. Many new car buyers remove the "code cards" and/or owner's manuals for whatever reason, and are lost forever. The only alternative is to contact a Honda dealer and provide VIN number and possibly the serial number from the radio itself (located on the bottom of the unit).
