Can I fownload Kindle ebooks on to my samsung tablet?

Kindle ebooks are readable via the Kindle app but you have to register the iPad as a destination for download.

I'm sorry, but you can't! If it was purchased on kindle then it remains on kindle, and not your iBooks.

Being a semi-old duffer myself :-), I can only offer little. I know nothing about the Samsung. My Kindle is almost 3 yrs old. That's archaic by today's standards. The HDX seems like a wonderful upgrade. However, I LOVE my Kindle Fire. It's easy, fast, great wireless with really nice features. The book selection is amazing thru Kindle (whether you "rent", buy or just get the free ones). My experience with tech support has been great! (Had to call a few times in the beginning.)

I got the same one for my husband 4 mos later. He's happy and has never had any problems. The only issue I have is there's no camera and downloading some odd files these days are impossible -- only because they're huge!!! You get a free kindle ebook for signing up for prime. That is, you can download a free book onto your kindle. You of course do not get a free kindle reader or tablet for signing up for prime. You just get a free download of a book. Sorry. On the plus side, you can still download your free ebook and read it using your desktop computer.

Go to the android app's store and download the "Kindle" app or any of the Ebook reader app's.But be aware if you are a "Kindle" user you will have to use their app to read your Kindle books.

If the app doesn't work email Kindle for a patch for your tablet.

If you want to read Kindle eBooks on Sony tablet, you have to convert Kindle to PDF to be read on Kobo, Nook, Sony.
