If you really want a manual, goto Kodak for the manual: http://resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/urg00402/Z730_GLB_en.pdf and don't risk to download dodgy programs from the sites that offer manuals for "free"
In the end you have seen lots of pages, could have pressed lots of buttons to download stuff and did not get a page from the manual.
But if you have a date on the the picture, when viewing it I'm afraid you won't be able to remove it.
Go into the settings and switch of that option. The date and time will be in the picture wthout you seeing it. Once you have the pictures on the computer, Kodak easy share will show you when the picture was taken.
(most photo programs will) it is in the EXIF data.

Time and date not coming in the print

http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=C410907&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_KNOWLEDGEARTICLES_1_1&dialogID=147252374&stateId=1 0 147256393

time and date are not superimposed on 2006 cameras and later. However it can be printed:

Solution
sp.gif sp.gif Current camera models (after 2006) do not have a superimpose function to display the time or date stamp on pictures. However, the time and date can be printed on images from a computer using Picture Motion Browser software. Additionally, if the camera is compatible with Canon® PictBridge™ technology, the time or date can be added to a picture by a printer that also has built-in PictBridge technology.
NOTE: When time and date stamp information is superimposed on an image file, it cannot be removed without editing or cropping the image. Therefore, the function to superimpose the time and date stamp was removed from newer-model cameras to prevent users from accidentally overlaying the information on images when the feature was inadvertently turned on.

How do i remove the time and date at bottom right corner of picture.

Manual can be downloaded free from here ....

http://safemanuals.com/annexe_POWERSHOT%2020A550%2020CAMERA%2020USER%2020GUIDE%2020ADVANCED%2020_CANON_POWERSHOT%20A550-_E.htm

Basically the date stamp can be turned on / off as an option on the RECORD menu. Page 33 of the manual explains it (with pictures).

Note that if the option is turned on, it states that the date / time is permanently embedded in the picture.

Hope this helps

How to set date stamp for canon ixus 860is

:
The date and time can be included on the pictures taken only with the camera in postcard mode. You must also activate the date stamp option in the menu.
To set the camera into postcard mode, press the [Func.] button on the camera, then use the [arrow down] key to go down to the last option in the menu, and there you can choose the [Postcard mode]. Press [Func.] again to exit the function menu.
dsc_include_date01_tcm13-520510.jpgTo set the date and time stamp, press the [Menu] button and then use the [arrow down] button to go to the [Date stamp] option in the menu. You can set this to "Date" or "Date & Time". Press the [Menu] button again to exit the menu.
dsc_include_date02_tcm13-520511.jpgBe aware that if you take pictures with this option enabled, the Date and Time cannot be removed from the pictures at a further time. It will permanently appear on the picture.

Date/Time stamp

The best way to add date/ time stamp to your photo is to use watermark software like Bitwar Watermark Expert.
Add Watermark
So users need to download and install the best watermark software on the computer system first. Then, users can choose Watermark Photo or Watermark Video tool based on the required file format but the steps below will show how to add watermark to photo:
Step 1: Choose the Watermark Photo tool and upload the Image file into the software.
Step 2: Choose Add Text to add text watermark or Add Image to add image watermark to the picture.
Step 3: Type in the Text into the textbox as text watermark and edit the watermark by editing the Font, Size, Rotate, Opacity, and Position. Besides, browse the Image to insert as image watermark and edit the image through the Size, Rotate, Opacity, and Position.
Step 4: After finish editing the watermark, click Apply to start the conversion.
Step 5: When the conversion is complete, tap on Open Path to preview the new photo.

Removing date & time on photos

Moving the files back to the camera will not accomplish that. The only ways to remove the date from the photos is to either crop it out of the picture or using imaging software to remove/paste over the date
