I have a 1.5 yr old Fisher Paykel ecosmart washing machine. During the past 2 loads there has been a notable water leak (significant puddling on the floor). I haven't witnessed the problem, but there is notable water around the lid (top loader) and down the sides. My gut response is that it may be leaking during a spin cycle. There seems to be quite a bit of "play" in the washer tub. Can you help?
Sometimes too much detergent, or extra cleaners like oxy clean) will cause lots of foam which will cause the water level sensor to misread, or foam over the top of the drum. if this is not the problem, you will have to tilt the machine on its side and look for loose or damaged hoses. the play in the tub will not cause leaking

I rand a small load with the usual amount of detergent and sat and watched the machine as it ran through it's cycles. Everything was fine until the final spin when there appeared some water drops from under the lid and additional water (perhaps the equivalent of about 2 cups, slightly soapy)from underneath the machine. Since it did not leak during the earlier rinse cycle, it seems like it shouldn't be a hose problem is it?
