SOURCE: Yamaha PSR-510 Keyboard

There is no need for a manual. It is so easy to operate because it is designed for easy opeating. If you need a manual to operate the PSR-510 then you really won't be able to operate it even after studying the manual. But here it is just in case you can by some miracle!

SOURCE: power comes on but the

The unit probably is detecting an error during the power on test... A long shot MIGHT be a button or key that is stuck on, that is sensed as being pressed. See if all the buttons are completly up. If the unit has a harddrive, a failure of it can block the booting even though the operating software is not on the drive in these. If you find a button that is sticking, put a tiney bit of CRC226 around it with a Q tip. You can get the CRC226 in the electrical dept of Home Depot. You just want to wipe the edges of the button to lube it a bit.

SOURCE: Is there a Yamaha school

Yamaha prefers to MAKE the instruments rather than conducting repair schools... they may have some very specialized schools for individual types when first introduced. With the situation in Japan right now such classes would be cancelled I am sure. Instrument repair is so specialized other than basic piano repair/tuning that you will find few if any courses. For piano repair you might want to search YouTube for videos. For organs and keyboards, detailed electronic knowledge and the service manuals are what we have to work with. You need both experience in digital and analog plus test equipment including oscilloscopes and signal generators as a start.

Yamaha psr 9000 keyboard

Try dusting the keyboard with talcum powder. Shake the unit around a bit, so it gets under the keys. That will likely help "lubricate" the keys and quiet down the noise.

It works on my piano. Nwo all I hear are the sour notes I hit!

Yamaha psr 1000

Hi
I'm not sure I completely understand your problem but......it sounds like you might be in "Fingered On Bass" mode. This means if you play a chord like F using the notes FAC- if you play them in 2nd inversion (so the order is CFA) the psr-1000 will make the note "C" the bass note. In this mode if you played ACF then "A" would be in the bass part. Change to "Fingered Chord"-this will enable you to play any chord with the tonic (the name of the chord) F whether you play FAC, ACF or CFA in the bass part. I don't have access to a psr-1000 but often with Yamaha instruments this can be changed by pressing and holding the "Auto Accompaniment" button. I hope this helps.

I require a user manual for a Yamaha PSR 6000 Organ to down load

Yamaha has the user's guides available as PDFs for most of their instruments on their site: http://download.yamaha.com/top/?site=usa.yamaha.com&language=en . Enter PSR-6000 or select Pianos & Keyboards > Portable Keyboards > PSR-6000 and then press Select.

The link to the manual will display below the search area.

I hope this helps.

I want to record vocal voice trhought mic on psr 9000

You could record short "samples" to be used in building new voices, however, it does NOT appear that you can record a vocal song with the PSR9000. The Tyros II and III have the capability to record vocals but the PSR9000 and Tyros I do not..

When playing back an arrangement, you can re-sing the song and have the vocal harmonizer track the arrangement.
