Trying to find a new switch and battery which just says non spillable sealed rechargeable lead acid battery 12v 7ah 20hr

I guess you have to decide whether it is worth it to you to replace the battery or get a new compressor altogether. I recently replaced my battery with a 12V 7.2AH Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery. Pretty much the kind used for computer battery backups (UPS). There are plenty to choose from under $20 at Amazon and eBay. Just copy the bolded text above and perform a search.

After opening the unit up, this info I found out about the rechargeable battery.

You can order it from Black and Decker, Vector sold all their product lines to them in 2006 and they carry the replacement battery cheaper than anywhere else I found.

It depends on what voltage the internal battery is. If it's a 6 volt, the charging voltage will be a little higher, close to 6.5 to 7 volts. Most of these spotlights are 6 volt.
