Leaking about 4 to 5 cups of water under washer on floor washer is about 17 years old model no. 110. 82872820

I have the same problem with my washer. The problem just began a few weeks ago. It is splashing out the front left corner of the tub and running down the inside of washer and then leaking out the bottom of the frame. It is just enough water to be annoying. The washer is about 6 years old.

it may drain hose is loose

The pump is at the right front. When the seal goes bad the pump will leak down the shaft. Check the hoses too.

That water is coming from your freezer during the defrost cycle. Normally there is a drain in your freezer that goes to a cup in your refrigerator and through the back of your refrigerator through a drain tube which extends down to a drip pan. If this tube gets plugged up, water will overflow in the cup and leak at the back wall of your refrigerator and through the holes that lead to the crisper's floor area. If you can remove the cup and using a wire dislodge anything blocking the drain, clean the cup of any debris and check your freezer drain for any obstruction causing water backing up and leaking !

yes this is more than likely a leaking inlet valve, to confirm turn of water at wall valves

The pad is an insulation pad to keep heat in the washer. It might be worth pulling the washer out and checking the water feed and drain connections - it's a good bet one of these is leaking.

You said, water splashing over tub into door panel. It leaks with or without being loaded with dishes.
You checked the lower wash arm but found no visible cracks or breaks. The leaking water is clear not soapy.

What is the brand and model number?
And how old is it???

There are a couple reasons water may be leaking out the door of a dishwasher.
1. The water is most likely coming out the bottom of the door where there is no rubber seal.
2. The rubber seal is around the door jam on top and both sides and not on the bottom. This means if the dishwasher has to much detergent in it the soap suds push only the water higher than the front edge of the wash basin and out the bottom of the door where there is no seal!
3. Fill only the soap cup that can close for the secondary wash. The open cup is a pre-wash and mostly not needed unless the food is baked on.This just wastes money to fill both of them every time.
4. And if you are using liquid detergent you only need half the amount from the powdered soap!
try less soap. Remember to much soap too can cause the water overflow.
5. And the last would be that the drain is clogged and caused a back up large or small and then the overflow!
is there water in the bottom when the wash is done?
Soap is usually the culprit, not that there can't be a leak in an old drain or water supply hose!
Go with the soap idea first!

try this put a half cup of cooking oil in it and let run through its full cycle without dishes in it this will get rid of all built up soap that form through out the years
