Lift up the top of your washer and there will be a code and test sheet in there that will help lead you to fixing that problem, almost sounds like it went into the its own test mode.

A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will tryto lock it six times before displaying the error code.

Possible Causes/Procedure ? Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.
? Door switch/lock unit failure.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check door switch/lock unit.
3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lockunit and Central Control Unit (CCU). Since you replaced the lock assembly, I would check all the wiring connections on the CCU. What is your model number?

Theme Door Lock message is prompted when the door cannot be locked. The CCU (central control unit) will try to lock the door six times before displaying the F 22 error code.

f the door fails to lock after six (6) attempts "Fdl" will display. The "Fdl" error code indicates the door failed to lock or the control does not detect the door being locked. The likely failure is the door lock mechanism. There is always a chance there could be a loose wire connection between the door lock mechanism and the Central Control Unit (CCU) causing the error too.

I added the instructions in the image below on how to remove and replace the door lock mechanism. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing and replacing the door lock assembly.

"F22" is a door latch failure error code. At the beginning of the wash cycle the door will attempt to lock several times. If the latch fails to lock, the washer shuts down and the error code is displayed.
In some cases, the error code can also be displayed if the CCU goes bad. There is a door latch relay on the board that controls the door locking mechanism. The CCU is not serviceable and must be replaced if defective. In addition, make sure all the connector plugs between the CCU and door latch are connected and snug.

On this washer, the dl code indicates a failed lid lock mechanism. Pressing pause/cancel should reset the controls.

You may have to unplug the unit for 20-30 minutes, then restore the power.

If that doesn't work, the only other solution would be to replace the door lock assembly.

Ok. You have stated that the unit is attempting to lock the door, but it is not locking. There are two click, then the error code illuminates the DE code. This is common when the control cannot initiate a door lock sequence. The cause will be a failed door lock mechanism, and it will require you to replace this mechanism asap, if possible. The actuator has failed. Replacing the door switch mechanism, will correct this issue.
