You probably need to adjust the leveling cam if you have not done so already. This is the green thumbscrew near the print mechanism.

SOURCE: Regarding Datamax E-4203 - Won't print

Check to see that the label sensor is over the gap in the label. It is just under the head on the right hand side.
You might also have the unit configured incorectly. If you go to the Datamax site, you can download the printer config program, It is easier to use than trying to push the buttons in the correct order to configure the printer.
Also use at least a 6" long label, and print the config file to see if you are set correctly for gap mode if using die cut stock.

Zebra 105sl - printer does not print correct size

This sounds like a mismatch between the printer settings in the print driver and the label settings in your label design software.
In the printer driver - printer preferences- set the physical label dimentions.
Also set the printing defaults to the same settings.
In you design program ensure your label size is the same as the printer driver and also you can set the print preferences in the same program, ensure they all match and hey presto it works. But if nt then contact www,lancerlabels.co.uk, they will talk you through the problem on the phone. They will not charge for the advice.

Failed to load the print preview or failed to print.

You need to run the Wasp software under an Administrative account or Right click the program Icon and select run as administrator (only need to do this 1 time, not over and over again). Once the program loads, set the label printer again by clicking file at the top left and selecting Setup Label Printer. Select your label printer. Now try printing the labels again.

I want to print a label onto a DVD I am burning using my HP6180 All-in-one printer. Does anyone know how i can do it?

Your printer is not printing straight to a DVD, so you will have to buy self adhesive labels, print on them and then stick the label on the disc. Now, it all depends on what software you have available. Your might have software included with the Photosmart printer for CD/DVD label printing, check your installer CD that came with the printer. If you don't, and use Nero for burning DVDs, you may notice it has a label printing software that comes with it. You will need this type of software in order to print a label. If you don't have Nero, or any other label printing software you can try using some of the free ones that are out there, like Disketch 2.11. There's also a lot of free to try label printing software, like Acoustica CD DVD Label Maker which you can use for 15 days for free. If you have Photoshop and you're good using it, then this is another option to consider (you can download templates online).

Using a label printing software is pretty easy, most of them will have templates that you can open and just edit, or you can start with a blank design and add text and pictures to it. When you are finnished put the special label paper in the printer and click print. If you have special DVD labels make sure you specify that in the printing preferences before you print.

C6180 will not print labels as set out in the avery template. will bunch up as they go down sheet

Step 1 : Change the print settings
The print settings of the HP All-in-One can be customized to handle nearly any print task.
Before changing the print settings, decide whether to change the settings for the current print job only, or to make the settings the default for all future print jobs. How print settings are displayed depends on whether to apply the change to all future print jobs or just to the current print job
Change the print settings for all future jobs:
In the HP Solution Center, click Settings , point to Print Settings , and then click Printer Settings .
Make changes to the print settings and click OK . Change the print settings for the current job:
On the File menu in the software program, click Print . Make sure that the HP All-in-One is the selected printer.
Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on the software program, this button might be called Properties , Options , PrinterSetup , or Printer .
Select the appropriate options for the print job by using the features available on the Paper/Quality , Finishing , Effects , Basics , and Color tabs.
Click OK to close the Properties dialog box. Click Print or OK to begin printing.
Step 2 : Print with 210 x 297 mm (8.5 x 11 inch) labels
The HP All-in-One can be used with any software program designed for printing.
This document contains basic information about using the HP All-in-One to print on labels using a software program. For additional information, such as printing a poster, printing multiple pages on a single sheet, and more, see the onscreen Help that came with the HP software.
Follow these steps to print on labels:
· Make sure to load labels in the input tray. Always use letter or A4 label sheets designed for use with HP inkjet devices (such as HP inkjet labels).
· Make sure the labels are no more than two years old. Labels on older sheets might peel off when the paper is pulled through the HP All-in-One, causing paper jams.
  • Fan the stack of labels to make sure no pages are sticking together. Place a stack of label sheets on top of full-size sheet of plain paper in the paper tray, label side down. Do not insert labels one sheet at a time.
    1. On the File menu in the software program, click Print . Select the HP All-in-One as the printer. To change settings, click the button that opens the Properties dialog box.
    2. Select the appropriate options for the print job by using the features available on the Paper/Quality , Finishing , Effects , Basics , and Color tabs.
    3. Click OK to close the Properties dialog box. Click Print or OK to begin printing.

Labels are printing in reverse

Whereas I do not have this same printer, the problem may be in the printer settings.  Go to your printer settings/properties and select printing preferences.  Select the "finishing" tab and look for "mirror" and see if the box is checked.  If checked, un-check it. If the mirror box is not checked there is a software glitch.  In this instance go to the "control panel" and select printers.  Delete the printer.  Download the most recent driver for your Operating System and re-install the software.
Try another label/envelope program: Avery has free downloads,  MS Word has a big listing of address printing, as does most word processors.  Check open source software such as open office.  Except for Word, there are a lot of free software out there.
If that does cure the problem, there could be a defect in the printer firmware.  Might need repairing or replacing.
Hope this helps.

I-class cutting issues

You need to calibrate the printer using the instructions located in the manual. This should be in area 5.2 of the manual. If you don't have the manual you can download them at this address along with software updates and firmware updates.
