My Kurio wont turn on. It has a black screen even when fully charged.

Press and hold the reset button on your tablet for 40 seconds and then re-press. See if that helps.

Need to be sent in for repair

Sounds like the "frozen screen" issue. Hold the on/off button of the tablet well also pressing the Volume+. This should FIX it and unfreeze the screen.

1) do you get a charge light?
2) Do you have to hold the charger on an angle to charge
3) Has it been dropped?
If yes to two or more of these questions it sounds like you need to bring it in for service. You can bring it in directly to our shop for a FREE evaluation or send it in for repairs... sounds like it either it has been shocked through a surge or drop and/or charge/DC jack is damaged.

Press the power for about 5 seconds until the unit goes completelly down. Power up again and if the problem presist, I suggest you to contact costomer support. Good Luck!.

You'll need to do a factory reset:
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.

• Hold down the power button for 45 seconds

Kurio won't come off blank screen, i've used the reset button, and the power with volume+ button and it's still the little kurio guy making the smiley face. i took the cover off, it's not hot. Any other suggestions as to re-boot it?
