1)you must LUBE the DECK BELT, inmediately, for to avoid the friction 2)LUBE the rollers bearing.too 3) See the main motor for bearing and repair the motor for bearint too. 4) If the problem persist you have worn deck belt, and replace. God bless you
check tension on the w/belt to loose will make it slip other wize check your drive motor belt thats under the hood. if you see a bunch of black dust your belt is worn replace
you need to adjust the travel of belt. to do this you need a allen wrench that came with it. if you have it run treadmill at slow speed,go to the rear right at the right end cap there is a hole, use the allen wrench and unscrew slowly while watching the belt until returns to the middle. if it slips when walking go back to rear and adjust by screwing in one turn on each side until belt wont slip.
It is a safe bet the serpantine belt that drives the power steering and alternator has snapped, open the hood and check, there should be a belt about an inch wide or so running round the pulleys, if you can see a bunch of polished rings across the pulleys then the belts gone, you need a special tool or a decent toolbox to fit a new one, it often also runs the water pump so dont drive far.
