Oh oh. sounds like you need a new laptop. You cannot simply replace the sound card like on a desktop. Take your laptop to a repair shop for an estimate. Good luck
Please ensure if the flickering is not coming from the PC. In some cases a fault in the display drivers section of the main board will cause flickering.
If you meant the flicking to be related to lower frequency of the vertical or an interference from the mains line then try and see if there are errors in the SMPS of the monitor. If there is leak of the mains storage/tank capacitor , it is possible to see some flickering. Select from the menu the vertical frequency and see if there is any change on alteration.
Have you moved the bobbin spindle off away from the stop before you try to remove it? Most machines, the bobbin spindle will be flicked over against the stop to engage the bobbin winding mechanisim so you need to flick it back off the stop before you can remove the bobbin.
