Not enough water supply F8E1 in a front load washer

Long fill error code if you have flood safe water hoses replace with regular hoses, this may sound stupid but I have seen this in the field make sure water is turned on, other possible reasons bad inlet valve or no power to valve from control, front load washers are notorious for rubbing a hole in the tube that goes to the pressure switch this switch is what tells the control to output power to the inlet valve also make sure the drain hose hasn't fallen to the floor. Quickest way to eliminate some things start with an empty washer after door locks unlocks and locks again the basket will rotate a few times then water should enter the machine fill to a level in the the basket that is barely above the bottom holes in the bottom then stop this eliminates control and inlet valve , if unit continues to fill and you get water half way up the door glass probably a hole in pressure switch tube I very seldom see a pressure switch go bad hopes this helps.

Water fill and start

if the water valve is bad it will hum and no water will enter the washer, first thing is to see if it's a problem with the houseicon1.png water valve or the washer valve, shut off the water supply, reomve the water hoses from the back of washer, mark the hoses so they go back on the same way, stick the hoses into the washer or a bucket and turn the water on,if water comes out of hoses then you know the problem is just the washer, check the valve, look at the screens where the hoses connect to the valve, usually sediment gets in there and the valve on the washer has to be replaced,on some the screens can be removed and cleaned, also you say you have trouble with the lock, what's humming is it the lock or the valve,if you turn it to drain and spin will it run?you could have a bad door switch,if door doesn't latch washer won't run but most likely bad water valve

Kenmore top load washer 29822800 - washer-selector is set on one rinse- when machine starts the agitator starts immediately as water fills - then when machine stops after spin cycle in off position water...

if you are saying that the washer finishes the load of clothes and timer goes to off and water is filling the tub after this then you have a bad water valve on the back of the washer.disconnect the water lines and change out the valve

No water no Spin

Check your 2 in 3 out water valve part# WH13X10029, this responsible for filling of water. By the way wash cycle will not run, until washer sense enough water.

Maytag Neptune Front Load Washer Model MAH4000AWW low last spin

two problems here,
your shaft seal is running on its last leg
the sound is unmistakeable and always described the same...
the water issue, you probably have a trickle leak through the cold water valve
the mixing valve is quite an easy repair, but I would have to say with all honesty, it probably time for a new machine
the hub seal is a tub replacment call
2 hrs of labor if hes good
and the tub runs around 500.00 dollars
sory for the bad news

No water

Your problem sounds like a fill valve problem. This is what your fill hoses connect to on the back of your washer. It is an electric solenoid valve that is supposed to open when filling. However, sediments from hard water and well water have a tendency to clog them up to the point where they don't pass water any longer. Sometimes, the solenoid itself goes bad. A new valve usually runs about $20-$30. If you've checked your fill hoses and verified the household valves are working, then I recommend replacing the fill valve assembly in the washer. I hope this helps.
