Try unplugging power, push and hold power button for 5 seconds, then plug back in. See if error code is gone.

The PE error or fault code indicates that the machine is overfilling with water. This washer is equipped with a water level pressure switch. As the machine fills, the pressure increases on the switch, at the set pressure, the switch cuts power to the water inlet valve and the water stops flowing into the washer. If the pressure switch fails to sense properly, or the water inlet valve fails to shut off the unit can overfill. This situation can also be caused if the machine does not drain properly. First, check to see if water ever enters the machine when it is turned off. If so, replace the water inlet valve. Next, check the drain line to be sure it's not clogged or kinked. Next, check to see if the drain pump is working properly and removing the water from the previous cycle. If all of those check out, you may need to replace the pressure switch.

Your owner's manual will show the amount of bleach your size tub requires. Run the machine on normal cycle that you use but do not add washing powder or fabric softener, only the bleach.
When the cycle has ended, open it up and allow to air dry.
The lint filters are replaceable and are available from your nearest LG service center or distributor.

Check the drive belt for condition as well as the drive motor.

Front loader? Coins do get into the baffles. They may be riveted on. I would leave it alone, personally.

most common is lint build up. a good hot wash with a good bleach...check your manual for manufacturer's recomendation. There's various products available..bleach is the most in-expensive and works well. make sure its set on high water level...pause machine for 10-20mins...let me know how you get on
