I have been trying to convert some movies to play on my home dvd player.I have tried two different converters,cucusoft video converter and prism video converter.
I have tried converting the files to mpeg and mpeg2 and mov format and vob format,any of which should work on my dvd player according to the user manual.
It is a memorex it plays compac disc digital videos and plays dolby digital it;s model # MVD 2015
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?
"DVD-Video" is a DVD format playable on DVD players and computers.
"Data DVD" is a DVD format that stores videos as data files on DVD.

Convert video to .avi or DVD (Audio TS- Video VS) format.
Many common dvd players can play .avi files
(.avi files are very compact).
All dvd players play TS/VS format.
