Remove the top cover by taking the two large screws and the small one under the handle, LHS.
Remove the left side cover. The hidden screw is a 2.5mm allen accessed through the vent.
Lay the machine on its back and remove the four large phillips screws on the bottom and the small screw for the side, paying extreme caution with respect to the embroidery arm.
CAREFULLY move the bottom to the left and out of the way.
Inside the body of the machine you will see a black box held in place by three or torx/slotted screws. Remove the screws and, as you slowly pull the box out MAKE NOTE OF WHICH WIRES PLUG IN WHERE.
Sorry, I posted before I was finished...
One of the wires will not remove.
On the other side of the box, remove the two screws that hold the cover on.
Inside, remove the two screws that hold the board.
Inside you will find two fuses. One will be blown. Replace with new fuse and reassemble.
When refitting the base unit, make sure that the knee lifter is on the correct side of the lever. Also, orient the base so that the accessory bin fits properly.
You will then need to recalibrate your clothsetter if you have one.

My bobbin winder won't wind on my janome 9000 can you please help me ?
SOURCE: janome 9000
I have a Janome 9000, was sewing and broke needle, replaced and broke another. I didn't have machine threaded, took out bobbin and would sew a little and stop saying thread broke. I took off top plate and started machine again, sew a little and stop saying thread broke. So I took out bobbin case and sewed again and stopped repeating the message. Everything looks OK, bobbin case and top plate. I guess I want to know if the timing could be off or do you think it is the computer part of the machine...Should I take it to the Sewing Machine Shop??

If you contact Janome HQ in your country, they should be able to tell you which dealer is closest to you, and the part number of the ruffler foot to suit the MC 9000......
....the technicians and questioners on this site come from all over the planet, so the where to go will depend on where you are !!
Keep it local

HI,
If your speaking of the "Monogram Wizard Plus" this only comes with the machine and is not sold separately. If you are talking about the "Embriodery Machine Essentials" that is available directly from Janome. Here is a link to the machine info on their site:
http://janome.com/index.cfm/Machines/Embroidery/MC9000#Machines_Overview
If all else fails, you can call their customer service at 1-800-631-0183 ext. 775
Hope this was helpful
Have a great day!

Do you have a Magic Box or Amazing Box? The only way I know how to rewrite your card is to insert it in the Box and it will ask you if you want to erase the card. I have the same machine and I believe your cards that you buy with designs already on them are non erasable. You have to buy a blank card to put your own designs on them.

Hi, I downloaded (for free) a copy of the Envision 8006 (and 8007 supplement) manual from the Elna website 2 1/2 years ago. The Envision 8007 is the same as the Janome Memory Craft 5700. I can email you a copy of the manual.
