Question is not clear? Read the needle? The print is really small and it will just tell you the size. Needles are good for 10 hours and cost and average of 70 cents. If there is any concern about your needle, throw it away and get a different one.
Nice Find! According to this website (attached) a 1926 Canadian Nickle to collectors is around $180-$5,200 CAD - which , if by "English Money", you mean "British GBP"- translates to 98.15-2,835 Pounds, depending on physical condition, flaws/defects in the mold used to make it- and wether or not it's been in circulation.
The speed sensor is what sends a signal to the speedometer. It's located on the transmission housing, usually at the output shaft. Have the engine codes read with a scanner to make sure that's what's causing the check engine light to illuminate.
My display went completely dead. Been dead for a while. Just today I fixed it. You have to change a small capacitor, on display board labelled C3. Very hard to find the exact one which is, 35V - 68 microfarad, so I replaced it with 35V - 100 microfarad. Works just fine. You have to be handy, or find a friend that can do this, cause you will need to solder.
Anyways hope this helps. By the way the capacitor cost me 15 cents canadian.
