SOURCE: non responsive (battery is fully charged). Screen has frozen up.
There is a reset button at the bottom (insert paper clip in pinhole). If all attempts trying to unfreeze it fail, you may have a logic board issue. Are you sure the Kindle powers up? Try to power up your Kindle with a different battery. If that fails, you can get the part at Kindle Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to open a kindle and install parts at Kindle Repair Guide.

Either the reset button, where you use a pin, or hold the power button down for 20-30 seconds.
That is one way. The next is to peel off the back, either with a small plastic wedge carefully or if you have very strong fingernails (please don't use a flat head screw driver. This will only scratch up where you insert it if it pops open). After you have the back panel off, there is a small reset button that I think you'll use a pin to press. Do this for 10-15 seconds. Be sure the pin or paper clip goes fully in.
Then Hold down the power switch for 15 to 30 seconds. Slide the power switch and hold it in place for 15 to 30 seconds as though performing a standard reset.
The screen should light up, revealing the reset screen, as you hold the power switch in place.
