I have an f6 code and the machine will not operate once it comes up

The F6 error code means that the computer on the control didnt detect that the motor reached a high speed on the spin cycle, sometimes it thinks the washer didnt spin fast enough because of a loose wire connection either on the motor or the control boards (motor &machine control) if you find that the washer did actually spin at high speed (clothes dont come out sopping wet at the end of cycle) the wire connections or the motor control board will be the potential causes of the F6 error code. Try unplugging the machine for five minutes to let the computer reset then try again. Next check the control panel wires. f6 code flashing on display Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine

We have an ASKO W6451 flashing F6. appears to jump from 1 minute to go to 20 minutes to go then flashes F6. would it be something electical?

Asko F6 error is apparently a motor fault. The motor could be jammed, open circuit , burnt out?? It may just be a broken wire or connection come off. Check "Google" and type in Asko F6 error. There is a lot of info about it.

Getting an "F6" error on

HELLO.

An F6 error code typically indicates a controlpanel problem. Disconnect power and wait several minutes before plugging itback in. If the F6 error code comes back within a minute of restoring power, the control switch pulse return line is not connected properly. This willgenerally require professional repair.

Thanks.

ERROR CODE F6

Hello,

F6 error code relates to the power board excessive temperature, this points to the cooling fan situated on top of the oven unit being faulty.

Shuts off when preheating with F3 or F6 error

The F3 error on this model is an open thermostat circuit. The F6 is a control or loss of power. Make sure the unit is plugged into a good 120 Volt outlet. Test this outlet with a power drill or lamp, wiggle cord in receptacle, if no other test experience or equipment is avaliable. Check the thermostate in the oven for physical damage. There may be a loose connection in the oven. This would require a good technican to find.

I have a kenmore dishwasher model number 15921 and its flashing a error f6 or f8 what is the problem

Hi,
F6 is a communication error. It is either a loose connection to the control board, or the control board is shot. They should have diagnosed this when they came out to fix it. Open it up, and look for loose connections.

Kenmore Microwave hood combo Model # 66569689992 F6 error code?

i fixed by unplugging the microwave with the door open. I plugged it back in and the F6 was gone. I was then able to set the clock and turn the light on/off . When I closed the microwave door, the F6 came back on and the microwave was making a humming noise. I slapped the side of the microwave near the keypad, and the F6 cleared from the readout and the humming stopped. The microwave is working fine now. Don't know why, except maybe slap on the side reset a relay or something. Anyway, I will never by a Sears Kenmore appliance for the rest of my life. The door rattles when you open a close it (like a part inside the door is broken) and this is the second time a fault code has appeared during use. I had GE Profile appliances at my last house, which are more $$ initial cost, but who wants to screw around buying a new microwave every four or five years. I'll happily spend a couple hundred more for the peace of mind and knowing that it will work during Thanksgiving dinner with the family over.
