SOURCE: adding developer to the new ricoh aficio mp 1500

Are you a tech? I suspect not. You need to remove the drum unit, disassemble, separate the drum from the development unit. Remove cover of developer unit, add developer, reassemble, and run SP2214 to calibrate.
This is NOT a procedure to be performed by an end user...no disrespect intended.

SOURCE: changing developer unit in afficio 450

Remove PCU, remove development unit, remove cover (2 plastic C-clips) remove filter, remove development roller (2 shoulder bolts). Clean roller and empty all developer. Pour in new developer, re-assemble unit. Reinstall drum and Development unit. Place a small piece of paper between the PCU and toner entrance hole to prevent used toner from entering dev. unit during calibration. Perform SP2-801. Remove paper form dev. unit

SOURCE: What is the difference between the toner and

Toner provides the color, Developer consists of magnetic particles that carry the color on the outside of the developer drum, which is magnetic. Some developer is lost on each copy, although most stays in the developer unit. When you run low on developer, your image gets lighter and lighter, until the machine reports an error because it can no longer self calibrate. One change of developer suffices for many changes of toner. There is a procedure involving various actions and codes to flush the developer material out and load new developer in. This is not difficult, but there are a couple of reasons you might not want to do it if you are unsure why or if you should. First, developer for these estudio copiers, is very expensive. Second, unless you know how many copies have been made on the existing developer, you might change the developer, and fail to correct the problem. There are related service items, involving the cleaning blades, and seals, servicing charging grids, corona wire, and general cleaning of the 4 developer units and opc drums. Including dusting with zinc sterate, etc., etc. Its hard to know where to begin or where to stop. If you really want to know all about it, order a manual from any of a variety of on-line sources. Good luck

HI! toshiba copier shows error code of C3B0. what is the solution?

That depends on the printers model
One could be;
Check to see if the waste bottle is overfull.
If yes, the waste toner will be backed up into the waste tubes, first affecting the primary transfer cleaner unit, then the black drum cleaning unit, then the color drum cleaning units.
Or;
Developer unit • Check if the developer unit is installed properly. • Check that the developer unit and coupling on the equipment side are properly engaged. • Check that the mixer of the developer unit is rotated. • Check if the developer material is too dark visually. • Check if the amount of the developer material is too large or too small. • Remove any toner or dust on the ATC sensor connector and the drawer connector of the process cover. • Remove any toner or dust on the EPU sensor connector and the drawer connector on the equipment side.
Or;
Auto toner sensor Harness LGC board • Check the connectors and harnesses between the auto toner sensor and LGC board (CN364). • Check if there is any foreign matter such as toner in the connector of the auto toner sensor. Remove if there is and reconnect it.

Loud toner error

The machine does not use the toner directly from the bottle, it goes thorught a developer chamber filled with developer powder. Then the toner is charged and can "jump" over to the latent image of the drum.
In this developer chamber, there are some small gears (2-3 tiny gears) that may be worn out. Some developer may have entered the "gearbox", and the deveoper powder is very abrasive.
The teeth of the gears will eventually stop to contact and mesh up. The internal parts of the developer changer stops to revolve, and there is no toner mixed with the developer.
You can see that there is a build up of toner, but it does not enter the developer unit. These gears have to be replaced, and I allways change the developer powder at the same time.

mp 2000 developer gears-2rhlv5r3sdqqpeuzs0ozcjtp-5-0.jpg These gears must be replaced it they are worn. The image shows a brand new part that contains the gears.

mp2000 developer toner input side-2rhlv5r3sdqqpeuzs0ozcjtp-5-1.jpg This is the side of the developer unit where toner enters the developer unit. With defective gears, the developer unit can not pull toner inside of the unit, and the toner builds up in front of the unit.

The gears are cheap, but will often result in the need of new developer powder - and that is expensive.
If print quality does not have to be too good, one can use the old powder and save money. Some of the powder is lost during use, and leaks. There may be some dust in the developer too.
In order to get high quality several parts may need to be replaced.

It is quick and easy to change these gears, just a bit dirty job.

Where does the developer go toshiba 3500

The developer goes into the developer unit. It is a supply that your tech installs. The copier you have needs both developer and toner. The developer is iron fillings that are used to hold the toner on the mag roller of the developer unit. It gets worn out over time. Good Luck
