Hi, if the OS is so messed up that it cannot restore you can always format the memory and reinstall it but this is a job that takes a fair amount of time to perform. Check with the manufacturer's wbsite for support on this issue.

Mobicel tablet keep saying set up wizard stopped working

My guess is that you will have to do a hard reset. That is the second set of instructions on the following page. I am not sure you can use the first set to get to safe mode as setup has failed. I find the Tom's Hardware site reliable but if this doesn't work for you, you may have to go to the mobicel support site and seek the hard reset instructions from there. https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/mobicel-tablet-keeps-on-crashing.3338895/

How do i hard reset my lg uk 410 tablet

Settings --> Resent menu 9.

Reset settings menu--> Master Reset options YES --> enter your 4 digit security code. The default code was 0000 unless you changed it. This will delete the phone entries. Security menu allows changing security code. You did backup anything you wanted to save, right? Note that customer service may remotely repair some phone problems.

How do i reset my asus transformer tablet tf101 i have a blank screen will not turn on

Perform a soft or hard reset on your Asus Eee Pad Transformer Android tablet if it is not functioning correctly. Here's how.

Soft Reset

You would want to soft reset the device in the event that it has become frozen or unresponsive. To do so, press and hold the Power button on the top-left side of the device for about 10 seconds until the device powers off.

Hard Reset

A hard reset (also known as a factory reset) will clear all data and settings from the memory of the device and set it back to factory default settings. You can perform hard reset on the Asus Eee Pad using the Android OS menus or the hardware buttons.
Method 1 1. Power the Eee Pad off.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button on the left side of the device, then press and hold the Power button.
3. Continue to hold both buttons until a bootloader screen appears.
4. Wait for the prompt that says to "Press <VOL_UP>" then press the Volume Up button to start the process.
The Asus Eee Pad will complete the hard reset process and reboot into a factory default state.
Method 2 1. Open the Settings app.
2. Select Privacy.
3. Choose Factory data reset.
4. Select Erase tablet.
5. Select Erase everything.

Master reset htc phone

Hard or master reset

A hard reset restores the original factory settings and may erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. To perform a hard reset, follow these steps:

  1. Back up all necessary data by copying any files you want to save from your phone to your computer.
  2. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap about.
  5. Tap reset your phone.
  6. Tap yes.

Hard or master reset using hardware buttons

If the phone is locked, frozen, or unresponsive, you can hard reset it using the hardware keys instead of the menu. A hard reset restores the original factory settings and may erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. To perform a hard reset using hardware keys, follow these steps:

  1. Back up all necessary data by copying any files you want to save from your phone to your computer.
  2. With the phone turned off, press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down keys.
  3. While still pressing the Volume keys, quickly press the Power/Lock key.
  4. When the device displays 'This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press Vol Down to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.', release the Volume keys.
  5. Press the Volume Down key to reset the device.

My toshiba r15-s822 says it has no drive and gives a (Ide#0 ERROR) i had a virus and i formated the drive a while back and i got a new windows xp install but i cant seem to load it cause it wont show the...

Xp can only "See" a hard drive up to about 128GB, if its bigger than that, XP won't install.

Make sure your drive is properly connected, and jumper in the right place (1 drive, set to master)
If it used to work before your problem, should be ok.

Then boot from your windows disk. If your bios is set to boot from the hard drive, if there's no operating system on your hard drive it can't boot.

If its set to boot from the hard drive first, it may, after a few seconds revert to booting from the disk drive. If not, while booting watch the screen, at the bottom it you should see "Press F2 for setup or F10 for boot options" or something similar. To temporarily change the settings, choose the boot options menu and select "Boot from CD". Restart and you should be on your way.

If that doesn't work, you may need a new hard drive.
