To delete a book from the Paperwhite: 1) From Home, tap and hold the title of the Kindle content you want to delete. Bixillarla says: When you sync, it connects to the Amazon server and checks for any new items needing downloading and updating your book list
When I launch Kindle on my PC, the title bar of the Kindle app reads "Ians Kindle for PC 2". I have Kindle on my laptop too. On the Amazon web site I have to send my book to "Ians kindle for PC 2" otherwise when I sync, nothing happens. Could this be your problem?
Books you buy should be listed in your Amazon Kindle library. Check it using a laptop or desktop.
If they aren't listed there then something went wrong with your order.
If they are listed in your Kindle library, you need to turn on your Kindle and connect it to wi-fi or 3G. Your Kindle should then automatically download the new books. If it doesn't, touch Settings and select *Sync and check for new items*. Make sure the Kindle you want to download the books to is listed as your default Kindle if you have more than one so new books will automatically download to it once it's connected.
First download your Kindle app. Then go into the app and you will be able to pull your library from the Kindle cloud and sync your tablet. Everything you purchased will eventually download to your tablet.
If you purchased the book from the Amazon store, it will still be in the Cloud.
Go to Books and there should be two buttons under the clock that say Cloud and Device. Click on Cloud and your deleted book should be there.
Simply re-download it at no extra cost.
1) you need to be connected to the Internet
2) there must be enough memory left on the HD
3) for iBooks: the sync. must be on Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1 7
It should not happen at all.
If you have 2,000 books on it and 400 collections then yes, the poor machine will just give up.
Keep it thin - just a handful of books on;
on the HOME page search for skdhfsdfh - if it says "6 documents not indexed" go down and delete those 6 books, they are corrupted - you can download them again.
