A bunch of stuff could be happening. First did you format the new card if not see if it can be formatted to the camera. if not then you will need to download the newest updates for that camera from the Kodak web site. For example the camera is set )internally) to accept a 1gig card and you installed a 2gig card it won't recognize the card until the camera firmware is updated. The easiest way is to format the card first.
face up. gently push till it clicks. it should only fit in the slot one way. (make sure the slot is the same width as the card. Do not use the Larger slots. Typically you insert (gold) contacts down, and in first. to remove, push till you feel click, then pull.
Be aware that some new micro SD cards have formats that older,( 2 years ago) laptops will not recognize. I think they are marked HD. or HC. Cards. Most of my devices Wont recognize this new format.
Camera included.
Cheers
I insert my
Red bridge multi in one memory card reader and a 2gb M2 card(with data) in the right slot yet I receive a please insert disc?? when I click the removeable (H)of Red bridge(which is detected by my pc)
try using a different card reader. had previous issues with a specific card reader not recognizing my memory card, and using a different card reader worked for me.
Your card is an SDHC, your camera supports only SD/MMC cards. I know this because i found thisp ostlooking for a way to make it accept SDHC cards, a software update could easily work in theory but someone would have to write that update. Technology changes fast doesnt it.
Does your computer recognize any other memory cards? If this is the only card that the computer is not recognizing, I would recommend a new memory card. If your computer is not recognizing any memory cards, I would recommend that you visit the pc manufacturer's web site and download the newest firmware/drivers for the card reader.
