2002 mercedes c320 how to code to car sam in trunk

What a question and read your manual...... and don't forget to put the gasket on it's place again. I assume you didn't google first since there are plenty of mercedes forums, which also are too lazy to take a look themselves.

Did you test for power at the fuel pump while cranking the engine? Also did you use a good source for a ground? You can also check the fuel pump relay in the rear SAM Control unit in the trunk, position "A"(top relay).

Had the same issue on 2002 c320 . look at the fuse chart ,find out the fuse # that operate the radio and the cigarette lighter , you have three fuse boxes, engine compartment, driver left knee and trunk on left .find the fuse b compairing the char to the box , replace the fuse . DONE

Check to be sure the trunk is closing all the way. It happened once to me - someone slammed my trunk shut and after that it would not close all the way. Never slam a Mercedes trunk!

Lead foot, tire pressures, stop /go driving. AC/poor compression, Trunk full of sandbags, transmission slipping, Wheel bearing friction, Brake shoe always on, etc.

That sounds reasonable to me.

Just replaced my key the ignition switch and the esl in my c230 98 Benz. Worked for about a week and now the esl will not unlock the steering or start the car. Is there any way to reset the esl? All three components are new I don't understand the problem .what causes the esl not to engage when you put the key in the ignition

Did you find a solution to this? I have the same issue on my 2002 C320. Thanks.
