After use Tv will not turn on

Tv will not turn on after previously being use. We will use the tv for a period of time turn it off and come back to it later in the day or night and the tv will not power on. The flashing red light on the bottom right corner will flash but it will not kick over to the blue light as it does when the tv is acting normal. Now we will wait an hour or two and the tv will turn on and work but it just starts the cycle all over again. The tv is not hot or warm or anything and does not make a noise. What can I do to fix this?

The part that gets damaged in lightning strikes is th e power supply board. You can get a replacement board on Ebay for less than $100 such as this one

i got the same problem. could it be something simple like a capacitor?

replace the mainboard and that should solve your problem.

You have a bad main board, common issue with LG not wanting to turn off again, its a small voltage regulator that goes bad, part number is 1183 or 1117, marked on the regulator, but it may be easier to replace the board
