How does canon sx50 hs power the clock

From the main batteries. If there truly is no separate battery then a capacitor holds enough power so the clock keeps running while you change the main batteries.

Canon sx50 hs Power button not working

Obviously the battery is not powering the camera. That could mean many things. There is a break-down in circuitry in the camera and you need to turn it in for a professional check-up.

Stuck lens on sx50

A stcuk lens on a Canon Powershot, have it serviced so it's looked after properly. For the Canons, your best bet is: www.CamerasAndParts.com All they service are the Canons and they are not expensive at all. Most service repairs through them are $79 - $89, including service for the camera and parts and labor for the repair, plus they cover the shipping back if you're in the united states. They are the new we recommend for the Canons, good luck with it.

PowerShot SX50 software will not install on iMac (OS 10.5.8)

Explore the .app structure, looking for the executable file. It is usually stored under "ApplicationName.app/Contents/MacOS/". The exact name can be found in another file inside the bundle:

Canon XEED SX50 Multimedia Projector.Power is not getting ON

i had the same problem.
maybe your xeed got overheated and the security fuse blew off.
its easy to turn it back on.
open the housing by unscrewing both side panels
open the top panel screws (they are belo both side panels)
carefully remove the top by tilting the front and bending it to the backside.
now open the 2 screws of the metal shield right above the lamp housing.
below you have two brown cables ending in the heat fuse.
push the switch of the fuse until you hear a click noise...
power should be back up again - BUT the fuse blew for a reason so check all fans and the location where you use your projector for proper cooling!
if this doesn't help and you have some problems with your local power supplier change the power fuse which is right on top of the power cable but the metal plate has to be removed first.
its tough because you have to loosen about a dozen screws...
hope this helps
have fun

Canon XEED SX50 Multimedia Projector - Poor light on screen

the canon xeed sx-50 should beside its noisyness give a brilliant bright picture. if not check if there ist something wrong with the lamp? is it aged? did you buy it used? the lamp counter can be easily reset... the only reason for a faint picture could be the lamp's age or tons of dust inside the matrix :)
