SOURCE: Rinse water fills the washing machine when the spin cycle starts
Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.

what I have found is that the washer thinks it is not pumping out .. if your drain pump is clearly removing the all the water in a good time... then the problem is your pressure switch...it is telling the computer that it still has water in the machine...
replace the pressure switch and it will solve your f21 error.
It is a round unit on the right hand side on top...with a tube and wires going to it...let me know if it helps

This problem is commonly attributed to a lid switch malfunction. If the model number you have this listed under is correct, the lid switch is mounted under the washer top casing, on the right hand side. It is activated by a plastic piece on the lid (called a "Lid Strike") through a small hole on the rim of the wash tub opening. In many cases the lid strike breaks off the lid, or the lid switch becomes loose and no longer makes contact. Inspect the lid to make sure the lid strike is still intact, and then inspect the mounting screws (adjacent to the small opening on the wash tub rim) and make sure they are snug. The humming sound you hear when the lid is closed may just be the timer motor running. If your washer is not configured in this manner, please post back with your COMPLETE model number (located along the tub rim under the lid) so I can confirm how your washer IS configured. I hope this helps you.
If you determine that your lid switch is broken, please let me know and I will provide you with the steps necessary to repair it yourself (simple repair job). I can also give advice on where to purchase a replacement.
NOTE: Placing heavy objects on the washer lid can cause the lid to bow and also affect the way it contacts the lid switch.

i had the same problem. take the bottom cover off of the front of the washer. on the right you will see a round white screw off cover, it is very tight, it unscrews counter clock-wise. pull this out and see if there is any debris in it. if you look into the hole on the right side there is a hole about 1 inch round, this is the pump opening. you may have to take the gray drain hose off of the back of the pump housing and feel if anything is stuck in there, in my case there was a penny stuck side ways blocking the flow of water. after i took it out the washer has been running great again. this is obviously a design flaw, that something that large could manage to get that far, lucky for me it didn't damage the pump impeller. hope this helps. this should take care of the SD and the F21 error codes.

SEIMENS FRONT LOADER ULTRA SENSE DRAINING PROBLEM On my SEIMENS washer, which is about the same as BOSCH, the drain problem seems to be usually a small sock jammed in the intake of the drain pump, or possibly in a hose before the pump. I found a quarter and a couple of staples in the attached settlement area where junk settles to avoid jamming the pump. Also a lot of dirt. On the lower front under the door, while facing the washer, is a round plate with a little hole in it. Put something sturdy, a little bigger than a toothpick in there, and rotate the plate about a 16th of a turn, maybe a little more, and it comes off. Take duct tape or similar and tape up the edges of the hole and a nearly vertical bar in the hold on the left side, because the edges will cut your hand, like they did mine. Inside the hole you will see a black turn knob inside. Turn it left very slowly, only after you figure out where the water will go, probably a small bucket or two of it. I used a 4" funnel which got most of it, I think, funneling into the bucket. Maybe you can be more creative, but it is what was at hand. Still got water on the floor out of the garage into the street. Turn left slowly, so it doesn't dump water outside of the funnel. You will see the water is brown, silt, dirt and stuff. If you get a lot of water out, that means the blockage is probably at the pump. If you don't get water out, the blockage is probably in the hoses from the washer, which means you need to undo hose clamps going into the pump and clear the blockage. That is harder. Most likely it is something in the pump area itself. After most or all of the water is gone, and it doesn't seem to unscrew any more, tug on it and it will come out exposing the pump and probably the sock. Remove the sock, and check the pump impellors to make sure they are intact. If gone, that means a new impellor and probably a pump. Then move the impellor, it should click as it moves and stop. If it does, you have found the problem. Sock blocking the outlet. Carefully clean out the **** inside the pump settlement area. If you leave any of the sandy gritty clumpy stuff it can ruin your pump. Also clean the plastic thingy you pulled out, and make sure the threads and sealing surfaces are clean there too. Then screw it back in firmly, and start the washer, without clothes. I would just fill it up, starting the cycle, until it starts to agitate, then go to the drain position With luck, it will now drain. . This will save you a service call for something easy to fix yourself.
