2) Tap the delete or F2 repeatedly to enter the setup. Wait until the bios loads. The Setup Default option should be displayed. Choose the 'Load Setup Default' option and then click Enter.

My canon ir 2420 is showing bios mode and what can i do to reset
Try downloading the firmware update tool from the cannon website otherwise. The unit likely has a bad SCNT board. There is no method for forcing an update while stuck in BIOS Mode. Canon part #: FM4-1273. MSRP is $335.87 if you buy new from an Canon Authorised Service Facillity (ASF).
