My question about philips 21 ctv with ic tea1507p at power supply.when first time iplug in the set is run for few second but after that set dead.

Hello sir I have the problem in a china kit ic number 8893 tv on standby ,power supply are good but raster problem I found in eht,whit will I do.

My Philips 3261/98 Power Module Dead also, I replaced on IC on the power PCB, can work already

tried to adjust in the screen menu set up adjustment, just let me know if can not get with adjustment.

Your power supply board is not yet dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Possibble that you will need to look into the set for possible power related issues. look for possible dry soldering in the main boards, possible power supply failure to the mainboard.
Look for shorted capacitors, drivers or faulty soldering joints in the convergencce IC/ failed IC.
Check voltage when set powers and on switch off. make a reading of the possible points for voltage difficiency.

I have Philips CTV 21 PT 240B/94R. and this time a problem are when set on chenel are not stop to change only forward and bottom right side Display Scan+

Hello bashlort, The increase in voltage may be to some circuit loading being removed this is a sign that something may have increased in resistance or something may have opened in the attached circuit. Have you taken any voltage measurements in the video section of the set, if not check the voltages on the pins of the video processor IC and follow the connections up to the CRT socket, be sure to pay special attention to the focus and screen grid voltages. If those are ok check the voltages in the horizontal section including oscilloscope measurements for drive signals. Please inform me of your findings. Thank you, Shuttle83
