If you never decrypted it, and your PIN does not work, then you will likely have to do a factory reset for the device. I would suggest you call the manufacturer first, in case there is a product specific code help they can give you, otherwise I found this page which includes methods for a Factory reset for many models.

I hope it helps, but be aware that any data you stored will be lost, in the process, excepting anything stored on an external device.

You won't be able to access the files if you perform a new installation because the previous installation files contain the password which is required for decryption.

You click the wrong password or your cap slock is on, sometimes CAPS LOCK case sensitive.

Install the seagate manager on a different computer and decrypt the files there first then move it back to your computer using the basic copy/cut and paste.
