That depends on your camera brand and model. If Canon, you will need to use a mini-HDMI cable. You cannot connect to a TV with your standard USB 2 cord supplied with the camera.

Please let me know how to view the images from a D3000 dslr camera thro` a LCD TV having usb port

You can't. You can use the supplied video cable to connect the camera to a TV's video in connector to play videos and view images, but not the USB port. The USB is only to connect the camera to a computer.

How to view photos

To view them on the camera lcd screen, press the playback button (green arrow in a green box, 2nd button down to the right of the screen) and then scroll through them one by one using the left and right buttons on the thumb pad. If you press the up and down buttons the image will advance forward and back by ten pictures each time.

To view them on a tv, turn the camera off and connect the video cable supplied with the camera to your tv input terminal (yellow). Turn the camera on set the tv to display the input feed and then use the camera playback button as before.

To view them on a computer, you'll need to upload them to the computer first. The best way is to turn the camera off and remove the memory card, and then insert it into a memory card reader connected to your computer. The computer will then prompt you to upload and display the images.

We cannot view camera images on TV from G2. We could in the past. Image in camera viewer goes blank when plugging tv cable into camera. Tried new cable. Still the same. Has something failed in camera?

Hello. I'm not sure if the camera has failed but try this sequence.Plug camera into tv then turn on camera then push review button. This is the only way 2 of my cameras will work for tv viewing.

Linking my canera to the TV to view the pic's

Playing Back images/Video Clips on TV You can also playback your images on a TV screen. Before connecting to any device, make sure to select NTSC/PAL system to match the video output system of the video equipment you are going to connect to Vivicam 5340s, then turn all connected devices off. 1. Position Vivicam 5340s on the cradle. 2. Match the docking connectors and carefully insert Vivicam 5340s until it fits in place. 3. Connect one end of the A/V cable to the A/V terminal of the cradle. 4. Connect the other end to the A/V input socket of the TV set. 5. Turn the TV and Vivicam 5340s on. 6. Playback the still images/video clips. The method of operation is the same as playing back still images and video clips on Vivicam 5340s. I hope this helps:)

Can I view my DiMAGE 5 images on a TV?

It is possible to view images in the camera on your television. This camera has a video-out terminal, which allows you to connect the camera to your television using the standard DiMAGE 5 Video Cable. The DiMAGE 5 can be set to either NTSC or PAL, depending on the broadcast system used.

How do I view and/or download the pictures taken with my digital camera my computer?

Once you have properly connected your camera to your computer (see FAQ #2 listed above), your computer will see your camera (connected and powered on) as a disk drive - most likely listed as "removable disk." Now that you know where to look to find the images, they can be viewed and/or downloaded in a variety of programs. Please visit our Learning Studio for specific step-by-step instructions (complete with examples and visuals) for further assistance in viewing/downloading images.
