LG refrigerator water intake valve leak

My LG refrigerator leaks water. I first thought the water hose may have problem. After looking further, the water drops from the spills (the round indent) of the water intake valve. I would like to know what could be the cause of it. It looks the water intake value has a flaw. To place it, I would like to know *How complicated it is? *Is that something I could do by myself? *The model of water valve is MJX41178908. Is it easy to get it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The model of water inlet valve in my refrig is MJX41178908. However, when I check for compatibility at several websites, it is said not compatible with LMX25964ST. Would it be ok to order that model as long as it matches the current one? Could it be that the wrong part was installed when my refrig was assembled? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

LG WM3500 - Leaking dispenser drawer with Failed Valve

Sounds like you should buy a water filter to put in your house or wherever line to filter the water. it can be a cheap one with just a cheap paper filter to keep out any sand or settlement especially if you are on a well oh sounds like the valves are getting dirty inside and not closing completely because of debris in the valve.

Water dispenser beep-beep

I am wondering about the hose you shoved in and the leak stopped. Is the hose you pushed in buckled where it hooks on or is there a buckled spot where the water comes out of the fridge. Just a guess.

A GE Profile Model, double door refrigerator with a water leak

If the leak is on the refrig water valve where the wall water line connects to , then use a 1/2" wrench and tighten the fitting on the water valve itself . If the leak is on the plastic tubing at the bottom of the refrig water valve , pull up on the small white ring while pushing down on the plastic tube to remove it from the valve . Cut off about 1 " of the tubing and reinsert it into the valve with pretty good pressure to be sure it is inserted completely .

Hello, i have a coolant leak i thought it was the water pump but the leak is above the mount bolt of the water pump beside the valve cover no coolant has gone in the valve interior, could it be a cracked...

A crack in that area of the block, while possible, is highly unlikely. A crack in the block usually happens in between the cylinder walls on the side of the block. It is most likely leaking from the intake manifold gasket that connects the intake manifold to the heads, or if the upper radiator hose connects to the intake manifold, it could be leaking from the thermostat housing or hose. There are also coolant temperature sensors that are mounted in that area. Or last but not least, it could be leaking from one of the freeze plugs in the end of the head. Coolant runs through the block, heads and intake manifold.

My Whirlpool refrigerator also leaks water from back.

Leaky dispenser ???
Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. If so you need to replace the valves.
