You can change or reset the MS Outlook password only when you have the old password. But, If you have lost or forgotten MS Outlook PST password, you will need to use the Outlook Password Recovery Tool.

Which password? If you are meaning the pst password. Close outlook go to control panel and then mail you should be able to do itin the settings against the data file
There is no such thing as a recover code, if a drive is password protected. If you have important data on the drive you have to find the password. Perhaps you try all words you used the last 5 years. You did not even mentioned how you did protect the drive. But even the simplest program that encrypted the data, made it impossible to read it as the files should be.
