I got a new iPhone 6+ . Somehow A new Facebook page was created and it will only allow me to log into that one even though I show that my other account is still active? How do I fix this issue ?

I would first try removing the facebook app and reinstalling. If it still detects the incorrect account after reinstalling, check in the settings app and make sure it's not signed in to the incorrect account.

In addition to the app, the actual phone can be signed in to a Facebook account. Open the Settings app and then scroll about halfway down. You should see Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, etc... - make sure the Facebook settings are correct as well.

Hope that helps!

SOURCE: Cannot log out of Facebook

The solution I found is simple...
1) Go to the "Tools" option in InternetExplorer
2) Then go to "Internet Options"
3) Select the "Delete" option in the browsing history section.
4) Menu will appear, simply UNTICK THE FIRST BOX! which states "Preseve favourites website data".
This will remove the facebook cookie and stuff so when you log out of hotmail you will not see that message about not being able to log out of facebook anymore =]

Hope this helps It really should!

SOURCE: Trying to create a business facebook page.

What you are talking about is a facebook profile. It is against the Facebook TOS to create profiles (accounts) that are not of real people or to have multiple accounts. However you can create a page which works almost the same as an account (it has a wall, etc) but people become FANs of the page rather than friends. You can run your page from your personal account on facebook and the two will remain distinct (separate).

...you will have to know what email address you submitted when you opened your fb account.......If you've forgotten....then ask your friends to look on your profile page.......

once you know what email address you used then sign in again using that email address and password.......If you've forgotten your password, then just click the line that says "forgot password" and follow the directions.......good luck

I am signed up on facebook on my laptop but my wife cannot create a facebook page of her own. When I open facebook, it goes to my page and my wife cannot get to her account??????

The problem is that you are not logging out of your account. When you log onto your facebook account you will see at the top right corner of the screen a tab that says account with a downwards arrow, put the mouse over the tab and click. Scroll down to where it says log out and click on that aswell. You should now be at a page where you can imput your information to create your wife's account. Goodluck!

Created a profile page so people could keep track of our progress for a new resturant. Security feature popped up, after 6 months of use, that I need to identify 5 people in my friends list to open my page...

Congratulations on your business.
Facebook, and other sites like it (myspace) have a lot of traffic.
Many times someone will create a profile then forget about it.
This clutters up the servers.
In order to clear up non active accounts, they impose a 6 month activity requirement.
Simply log on to your facebook page, ask a buddy to "friend" you and do that 5 times.
A weekly or monthly log in and chat will suffice to keep this open.
(P,S. If you have this page for keeping track of progress on your restaurant... there might be a slight problem in the way your are updating...)
You might want to try "TWITTER"
Twitter allow the user to set up an account and type up to 240 characters (spaces count) and post them to their account.
Anyone following will get the updates.
For example, if you have 2 people following your twitter on your restaurant, you "twitter" a message like this:
"Just got the new linens in today"
and all 20 people following will get the message.

Hope that helps

good luck and don't forget to vote!!!

How to tell if someone else logged into your account

Facebook doesn't allow double log ins on a web browser. If you log in, and someone else logs in, you're going to be signed out.

This doesn't apply to Mobile web versions, or the iPhone App though.
