I'm trying to get my phone mirrored on my TV. I have bought a MHL cord but it wont work. It says to check the connection, signal or power source. All of which are fine. So I dont understand why it wont work. Is the TV just not compatible and if not is there a way to do it?
The Samsung LN40C630K1F is not MHL compatible. The HDMI port on the TV doesn't understand the signal from the tablet directly. You need an MHL to HDMI adapter: http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters%C2%AE-Adapter-integrated-Charging/dp/B00ESM3Q7K/ref=pd_sim_107_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1A2PE0271GRC99HNF1G9 , instead of an MHL to HDMI cable. Be sure to make sure that the adapter is compatible with your phone. (Not all adapters work with all makes/models.)
I hope this helps.

Testimonial: "Thank you, that link that you gave me has a 11 Pin cord, do you know of any that have a 5 pin?"
This one:http://www.amazon.com/Insten%C2%AE-pin-M... is listed as a 5-pin Micro USB to HDMI adapter. It does require a power adapter to be plugged into the side. There are probably others. I hope this helps.
