You should contact tracfone (as trying as that can be).I have lost minutes for no reason and i don't have pinger. be insistant as to what you lost and you want it back. pinger also offers support but,i suspect tracfone. I have given up on zte and tracfone.be leary of there byod program, they told me a galaxy s3 would work but after i bought it they said it wouldn't. i had it flashed to pageplus and pay $12. a month for 250 min.,250 text & 10 mb data. They also have other great plans and use verizon network. Hope this is some help. good luck.
Switch the phone off and remove the battery. Leave the battery out for about 5 minutes then replace and switch the phone back on. leave the phone switched on for about another five minutes before attempting to text again. This cured the same problem on the same phone for me.

It also depends on if you're texting a lot, because with the combination of texting and talking, it really drains your battery. I have almost an identical situation with my Iphone...
For the beep you go into the tools menu (bottom right icon) from there go to calls and in that sub menu go to "minute minder" and turn off as for the screen lock I think you can change the time but your stuck with it. i hope that helps some.
