How do i fix lock trays?

Locked or Tray Locked appears in the display after following the tray...

Unplug the machine. Have a look behind the tray flap. there should be a very small hole to push a paperclip or similar into to release the tray.

When "LOCKED" appears on the display it means the Child Lock is on. To cancel the Child Lock, hold down the Play button on the player until "UNLOCK" appears on the display.

There are little gears to open the tray with a little rubber belt that drives it you should be able to open door and pull on tray to get disk out if not unplug it take top off push tray out Cheapper to replace player than to fix but little flap should pull down grab tray and pull

If the Sony DVP-NS77H DVD player displays "TRAY LOCKED" and you can't eject a disc or open the tray, try the following - First turn the unit off. Then, while holding down the eject, play and stop buttons simultaneously (on the front of the DVD player), turn the unit on with the '/O button (also on the front of the player). This released the locked tray for me.

Push and hold down the Open/Close button until "UN-LOC" appears on the FL display (or "Disc Tray Unlocked" appears on the TV screen).

there is a small hole in the front of the tray that will accept a straightened paper-clip. gently insert the clip and the tray should release. if the cd/dvd disc is dislodged from being flat in the tray, it may not come out. you might need to open the cover and manipulate the disc to get it back flat in the tray. a good first test is to see if the disc plays. if it does, it is in the tray correctly and should be easily released with the paper clip. the try might work after you release it.
another possible first try would be to gently push inward on the tray after telling it to release. if there is extra tension on the tray it could cause the mechanism to not release. freeing the tension on the tray could be all that you need to get the 'unlock' to release. (kinda like trying to open a door when someone is pushing it very hard against the lock mechanism. it wont be able to move).

Try this trick. it worked for me. Using a credit card insert it into the Tray opening to remove the front cover of the CD loader. then using 2 fingers push the tray inwards while pressing the eject button. Do this 3 to 5 times. If this does not fix your problem. Send it for repairs.

You were close, but didn't explain it very well. If you push on the 'DISPLAY' button (left side of machine as you are facing it, about half way down) when the unit is off, it will say something like "DEALER MODE", push it again to return it to regular mode. You may have to press and hold the button to get it to display 'DEALER MODE', then when everything is normal, "DEALER MODE" just goes off and isn't replaced by anything. Hope I explained it well. To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears.   The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button. 

 

To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
