Why would the LED indicator light illuminate for the water and crushed options, but not for the Ice option. The icemaker is working and dispensing ice.

I bet your fridge was put into Sabbath Mode.

Sabbath Mode is designed for those whose religious observances
require turning off the lights and dispensers.
In Sabbath Mode, the temperature set points remain unchanged,
but the interior and dispenser lights turn off, all sounds and alarms
are disabled, the dispenser display screen backlight turns off, and
the dispenser levers are disabled


To turn on Sabbath Mode, press and hold LIGHT and
OPTIONS at the same time for 3 seconds. When the feature
turns on, "Sabbath Mode" will appear on the dispenser
display.
To turn off Sabbath Mode, press and hold LIGHT and
OPTIONS at the same time for 3 seconds again.

the push button control . is a pc board and it is not changing the comand . you will have to raolace this board. .. mm

Open the freezer door. Pull the ice bin OUT and then push it back IN until it locks in place. They will "jump the track" at times,causing crushed ice regardless of the settings. Look under the ice bin. You will see a metal rod it goes inside a yoke in the back of the freezer. Make sure it is inside,not under or over the yoke.

You have a solenoid switch which switches the dispenser back and forth from crushed to cube. It could be stuck or not working or the parts connecting it could be disconnected or broken. You will have to observe to see if any parts are moving and if any noise is coming from the solenoid

check the water line fron filter that continues on to water dispfrom icemaker, also a bad water disp solenoid or no pwr to water valve disp solenoid could be a problem,when you try to disp water can you hear a click from the solenoid operating to let water out?

Icemaker only dispenses crushed ice even when in cube position. Water/light work fine. Have already replaced control module circuit board.

Check the evaporator system, that release the cubes, when that does not work the cubes stay stuck inside.

The icemakers won't make ice if the temperature is not below a certain set point. Varies between manufacturers. Try making the temp colder.

If less than a year old should still be under warranty
