I know this thread is old, but it came up in my search for similar issue. I own a Banshee 2. Make no mistake, this thing eats electricity because it has an internal Amplifier (you can use it as a practice amp if you connect a regular speaker in the correct hole). And the 9v supply MUST be AC (most pedals are DC). No ordinary power supply will work and may damage your Banshee. You must have 2000mA (or more), 9 volt AC power supply. It may be described as 9VAC, 2.0Amp or similar. Do not try a DC power supply. The plug and socket are an unusual size, probably to stop people sticking 9vDC into it. I've attached a picture of my own power supply that works great. About £7 ($10 USD) of ebay.
if u have a lot of ac adaptor then find thesame voltage output to ur gadget..if you don't have the exact voltage dc output for ur gadget better buy one....what is your machine need? ac power or dc power? if your machine is electronicaly operated so u need is dc power...but if your machine is like a motor so u need is ac power....tnx
Hello Javargas - Your unit will work fine with any generic 12V DC 3 AMP AC adapter.
It's probably marked somewhere on the back of the unit (at least the 12V part).
If you have trouble finding one with 3 AMPs you can buy universal ones that will dial up automatically the voltage/amps the unit needs.
The generic kind can be had for about $20 (USD) while the second kind usually sells for around $35-40.
hasselblad makes a digital back--approximately $20,000 USD (yes, that is 20 THOUSAND) and then you need the adaptor (approx. another $1000-$1500 USD). If you can afford that, why not buy a NEW MAMIYA RZ22 (22 mP) or the 33 (33 MP)? would cost less and already digital.
You may be able to get a battery charger but its rare.
If you do wish to use the AC adapter, take care with positive and negative. Also the voltage of the battery is actually lower than the AC adapter in order to get charged. I don't know what is going to happen if you do choose to use AC adapter as battery. 75% chance that it will work.
Your phone did expirence a surge that probably blew the ac adaptor which happens most of the time, u can buy one of those universal adaptors and look on the back of the old adaptor for the output voltage it will usually read between 3 and 8 volts DC.Set the universal adAptor voltage to the setting right below the voltage output on the back of the ac adaptor.
